Sue is running to defeat a MAGA extremist, anti-abortion Republican in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. According to the New York Times, this district "has been identified as a key target of Democrats hoping to regain control of the House.”
That’s right. The path to taking back the House majority for Democrats runs through this district. We NEED to win this election.
As a teacher and community leader, Sue has fought for better schools and strengthened our democracy, always while speaking truth to power and standing up for our rights and freedoms. When Sue wins, she is ready to get to work to pass laws that raise wages, defend reproductive rights, and lift up working families.
Meanwhile, her MAGA Republican opponent barely won in 2022 and has spent his first term in office undermining our freedoms at every turn. He supported a national abortion ban and tried to block legislation that codified reproductive rights in the state.
