I have no qualms about admitting that fundraising is not my favorite part of this job.

In fact, sometimes I have to close my eyes and imagine a world in which public service doesn't require competing with a bottomless pit of right-wing cash.

But we don’t live in that world.

We live in this one, where it takes a pretty penny to win elections and break the far right’s stranglehold on politics. 

And speaking of pretty pennies: My first End-of-Month deadline of the quarter is tomorrow night, and I still haven’t quite hit my goal.

So – at the risk of sounding like a broken record – I have to ask: Will you rush $25 to support my fight for clean energy, choice, healthcare, gun reform, and more?
