John, did you see Angus King’s last message?
While Sen. King is on the road or in D.C., he’s counting on us back at home to keep his campaign running. This year he’s up for reelection, and we’re coming up on our end of the month fundraising deadline for April. Will you help us continue our outreach and keep Angus King’s campaign on track by donating before midnight tomorrow?
Thank you for your support!
– Gaetan with Team King

John, it’s Angus King –
No matter how many times I go from Maine to DC and back, I’m always happy to return home. There is nowhere else like our state, and we all play a role in making it special. But because I can’t be in two places at once, I’m counting on your support in Maine so I can keep doing my part in Washington.
I’ll cut to the chase, John – I’m up for reelection in November, and our end of month fundraising deadline is in just two days. Getting contributions like yours is like gas in the tank and will determine how far and wide we can reach the people of Maine. Since I work for everyone, I want us to be able to reach everyone. So, John, will you help me out by contributing $10 to my campaign now?
I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling like a bit of an outsider without a D or an R next to my name. We’re living in divided times where everyone is expected to choose a side. But I envision a government where our representatives put that aside to find effective solutions to important problems – especially when those solutions require compromise.
And here’s the kicker: when we come together, it works. I may have no automatic friends in the Senate, but I also have no automatic enemies — just 99 allies in waiting. That allows me to reach across the aisle and deliver lasting results for the people of Maine, such as introducing the bipartisan HELPER Act to make housing more affordable for our essential workers.
When I hit the road, I’m driven by the promise that when I show up in the Senate, I’m there to bring results. Will you contribute to my campaign before our end of month deadline to help keep me on the road and in the Senate?
Even though leaving home is hard, I’m always proud of the community I come back to. It pushes me to keep working hard to be a senator you can be proud of too.
– Angus
