John, it's like my GOP opponent once said: "In order to see the true qualities of an individual, we must look at the signs that point to who they are."

It's a good point about letting your actions speak for themselves, so today, before I ask you to support my campaign to continue serving IL-03 in Congress, I wanted to reaffirm my commitment to my community.

FIRST: Before I ever even considered running for office, I had a passion for helping others, so much so that I became the Executive Director of the homeless services agency in my community when I was just 21. In my time there, I worked hard to help hundreds of people get the resources they needed.

THEN: Once I ran for the Illinois House and won, I got right to work for our community in Springfield. Not only did I secure millions of dollars in funding for affordable housing, I worked to establish elected school boards in Chicago and expanded Medicare coverage to seniors regardless of immigration status.

NOW: In just my first year in Congress, I've been a champion for our working families, introduced legislation empowering tenants to fight back against unfair housing practices, and co-led the reintroduction of the American Dream and Promise Act.

Meanwhile, my GOP opponent has certainly shown who he is by 1️⃣ denying the results of the 2020 election, 2️⃣ advocating against common-sense gun legislation, 3️⃣ aligning himself with anti-choice far-right extremism.

John, his agenda directly threatens all of the progress we've made in our community so far, and he's working his hardest to take my seat in the fall.

To counteract this, my team and I are working just as hard to connect with voters, share the high stakes of this race, and talk about my progressive vision for the future, but I need your support. Will you help my team and I  reach our End of Month Fundraising Goal by chipping in toward the $5,032 we have left to raise?

Thank you,

Congresswoman Delia Ramirez
