What we’re fighting for:

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

As Pressley launches reelection campaign, she finds herself in a party that has moved closer to her progressive vision

When Massachusetts 7th elected me to Congress, I was a newcomer. Pundits called me an outsider in my own party after defeating a 10-term incumbent, becoming the first Black woman to represent Massachusetts in Congress.

Six years later, our record speaks for itself. With the help of this movement I’ve been working every day to fulfill the bold mandate we have from the people: For broad-based student debt cancellation, housing justice, reproductive freedom, and so much more. And that’s why we’ve launched our re-election campaign centered on the people, to keep building on our wins and deliver progress for those who need it. But I’m going to need all of you fighting alongside me to make our progressive vision a reality.

So I’m asking: Can you chip in $25 to ensure we can keep powering our progressive movement?

From my time in Congress so far, I see a shift in the solutions that people want us to advance. I see a shift that will allow our progressive movement to continue to grow. Because belief in these policies by supporters like you continues to grow.

But time and time again there are bold solutions that have been left on the table — from immigration reform to universal child care and paid leave. These are not nice-to-haves. They’re must-haves. And if we’re successful in November, we won’t govern from a place of scared power. We will continue to advance bold, transformative legislation that addresses the scale of the need that people across the country are facing.

That’s why I’m not taking anything for granted. I’m fighting to make sure we take back the House, protect the Democratic majority in the Senate and the White House, and continue to push the Democratic Party to embrace the bold, progressive policies that our communities demand and deserve. But I can’t do this critical work alone — I need my A-Team with me.

Will you chip in $25 or anything you can to help ensure we can keep building progressive power ahead of the 2024 elections?

Yours in service,

Ayanna
