During a radio interview with Midday, the incumbent made several bitter, personal, and dishonest attacks on me and my record. These attacks are the type of negative campaigning that divides us and turns people away from politics.
Baltimore is sick and tired of seeing elected officials fight each other and causing division rather than focusing on ways to bring our community together and deliver on the issues Baltimoreans care about most. Baltimore deserves better.
Politics can bring out people's negativity, and I firmly believe that the way you run your campaign is indicative of the way you govern. That’s why it’s important that our campaign reflects our values, and I refuse to get involved in petty political battles.
I am incredibly proud of our track record–from supporting Baltimore’s hard-working families and keeping our streets safe to establishing Baltimore as a national leader in trauma-informed care–but I need your help!
Running a clean and positive campaign is expensive, and with just 15 days left until Election Day, we’re coming down to the wire with our final major fundraising deadline at midnight tomorrow.
Can I count on you to chip in $5 to help us reach our $10,000 April fundraising goal before tomorrow’s midnight deadline? We’re just $2,145 away, and every dollar counts!

I’m lucky to have you on my team.
With gratitude,
Zeke
