Independent Polling Shows Ashcroft with Largest Lead Yet

New polling from the Tyson Group shows Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft with a 25-point lead over Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe and a 33-point lead over Senator Bill Eigel.

This represents the largest lead Ashcroft has held since he announced his candidacy a year ago.

The poll also asked a series of questions about China’s influence in the state and shows 76% of Missourians support legislation written by Secretary Ashcroft to ban China from buying Missouri land.

Establishment Republican Mike Kehoe voted twice for the law that allowed China to buy our land, even voting to override the Governor’s veto.
