John,
Before the coronavirus outbreak began, Issue One staff volunteered for a day at the Capital Area Food Bank. This critical organization provides meals for those in need throughout the D.C. region, and is one of the area’s largest hunger-relief programs. During our visit, we sorted food that would then be distributed to various locations and into the hands of people who need it most.
Now, as we navigate our way through this public health crisis, it’s important to remember that we’re all in this together and to help those who are experiencing more loss and hardship.
Last month, our staff stepped up to the plate when the food bank needed it most and donated 2,276 meals to help folks in our community.
We would like to help the food bank again. And we’re asking you to join us.
Will you donate today and help us provide meals to those in the D.C. area during these uncertain times? Any amount helps.
We will take all proceeds raised through this fundraiser and give it straight to the food bank in your name.
As always, we appreciate all you do and hope you’re staying safe.
Thank you,
Nick Penniman Founder and CEO, Issue One
