Liberal lunatics have taken over college campuses across the country.

Over the past week, pro-Palestine demonstrators and Hamas terrorist sympathizers have occupied numerous universities. While all Americans have the freedom to exercise their First Amendment rights, these agitators have established encampments, spewed vile antisemitic rhetoric, and threatened Jewish students. In some cases, demonstrators have displayed Hamas flags and spiraled into violence.

As you may know, some of the most egregious encampments have taken place at pricey and prestigious Ivy League schools, including Harvard and Columbia University.

Notably, when far-left activists tried spreading this hatred on campuses in Red States, they were immediately shut down by law enforcement. Demonstrations at both the University of Texas at Austin and Emory University were rightfully met with arrests and measures to quell the radical disruption.

Clearly, the Left shouldn’t try to New York our Texas or Georgia!

Folks, let me be clear: Antisemitism has no place in our country.

The rise of antisemitic rhetoric and behavior on liberal campuses is truly despicable. Unfortunately, this is the direct result of decades of the Left indoctrinating students to hate the United States of America.

I not only believe that these radical agents of chaos must be held accountable, but that the presidents of these institutions who condone this vile behavior must resign.

Please know that as a conservative member of the House Appropriations Committee, I support blocking taxpayer dollars from funding universities that tolerate antisemitic encampments and fail to protect Jewish students. Simply put, your hard-earned tax dollars should never be used to support the Left’s hatred and violence.

Despite persistent pleas to keep his hands off our car keys, President Biden is doubling down on his radical rule to institute a de facto electric vehicle (EV) mandate on our country. Last month, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized its rule to set emission standards so high that auto manufacturers would be forced to ensure 56% of light-duty car sales are battery electric and another 13% are hybrid by 2032. Hardworking Americans already battling inflation simply cannot afford the President’s illegitimate power grab — nor should they be forced to bear this burden.

American consumers always deserve the freedom to decide what car they purchase and drive. That’s why I recently led 30 of my House Republican colleagues in introducing a Congressional Review Act (CRA) joint resolution of disapproval to block Biden’s EV mandate from taking effect. It’s imperative that Congress prevents the Biden Administration’s dangerous overreach from encumbering auto manufacturers, enriching Communist China, and crushing the American people. Please know that I’ve been fighting to stop this insanity, and I remain committed to advancing additional measures to protect you and your family from the President’s disastrous EV mandate.

Lawmakers are back in Washington this week, where we’re expected to consider multiple pieces of legislation, including:

• H.R. 6090, the Antisemitism Awareness Act of 2023: This legislation instructs the Department of Education to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism, which includes denying Jewish self-determination and applying double standards to Israel when enforcing laws and rules against discrimination in education programs.
• H. Res. 1112: This resolution condemns President Biden and his Administration for their disastrous open border policies that have created the worst border crisis in U.S. history, and urges the Biden Administration to take immediate action to end this national security threat. 
• H.R. 529, the Extending Limits of U.S. Customs Waters Act: This bill extends the customs waters territory of the United States from 12 nautical miles to 24 nautical miles, allowing U.S. Customs and Border Patrol to pursue critical efforts to enforce our trade laws and prevent deadly drug smuggling off our shores.
• H.R. 6285, the Alaska’s Right to Produce Act of 2023: This legislation reverses the Biden Administration’s and the Department of Interior’s decisions to ban energy development in the 1002 Area and the NPR-A and reinstates lawfully awarded leases.
• H.R. 615, the Protecting Access for Hunters and Anglers Act of 2023: This bill stops the Biden Administration’s Department of the Interior and Department of Agriculture from banning lead ammunition or tackle on federal lands and waters for hunting and fishing unless the regulation is consistent with state laws and supported by science.
