Friend,

The world today is frightening my friends. We have real problems and I’m worried.

I'm not worried by the problems. I'm worried that we're not even facing them honestly. Because in life, you will never solve a problem you're unwilling to admit.

In New York, our quality of life is suffering, antisemitism is out of control on our college campuses to the degree that Columbia canceled classes and the university’s rabbi actually warned Jewish students that the college was no longer safe for them.

The migrant crisis continues with no real help on the way and people can’t walk down the street or take the subway without fear of being the victim of a random crime.

As a result, there is a growing sense that New York is increasingly lawless and rudderless.

The good news is hope is not lost. New Yorkers are resilient and if we come together, there is nothing we can't solve. The people lead and the politicians will eventually run to catch up.
I talked about where we are and where we need to go this weekend with my friends at Bethany Baptist Church in Brooklyn.

If you have a moment, you can watch it below.
