Here’s the thing – if every single person reading this email donated just $1, we’d be in fantastic shape for this month and beyond!
I love that for a couple of reasons – first, because it’s pretty amazing to me that so many of you read these emails and keep in touch with me and my campaign through this medium. I’m so grateful that you open and read these!
But even more than that, I love the reminder that small actions can add up to something really big.
One dollar may seem insignificant. After all, it’s hard to even find a good cup of coffee for that much! But at scale, those small donations really do add up – and they really do make a difference in what we’re able to accomplish. The money we’re able to raise now will determine the investments we can make in online voter outreach, the strength of our organizing on the ground, even the help we can offer other great Democratic candidates.
And the stakes are just so incredibly high. With the climate crisis wreaking havoc on communities across California and the country, extremist Republicans – like my opponent! – fighting tooth and nail to roll back our reproductive rights, and the epidemic of gun violence continuing to take unbearable tolls on American families, Democrats simply cannot afford not to win in November.
So I’m making a personal request right now: Can you pitch in any amount – whether that’s $1 or $100 – to help make sure we are prepared to give this year our all?
