Seemingly overnight, our daily routines have been turned upside down. We’ve had to change the ways we work, play and connect with our loved ones.

That means our campaign has to change too. With the traditional methods of meeting voters face-to-face, holding community events, and organizing locally thrown into disarray, I want to fill you in on our team’s new approach to campaigning.

Whether you’ve been on our list for a long time or joined our team more recently, you are an important part of this campaign. Online donations from grassroots supporters like you are a huge part of our fundraising effort and to stay competitive in this historically Republican district -- we need to raise an exorbitant amount of money.

We’re still going to use our email program for fundraising purposes. But I also want to use this platform as a way to connect with you and involve you in my campaign going forward.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing ways that you can stay involved with our team remotely (I’ll be asking for your ideas and your feedback, too). And I’ll be sending weekly video updates to keep you informed of what’s happening in our race.

A lot of things are uncertain right now. We have the capability of moving forward together. We still have the ability to have fun and accomplish big goals. And we are going to continue to do that.
