Late Friday night, Trump fired the intelligence community's Inspector General Michael Atkinson for impartially doing his job and taking the whistleblower complaint about the president's abuse of power to Congress.

Trump didn't hide his reason for firing Atkinson, saying: "He took a fake report and he brought it to Congress with an emergency, OK? Not a big Trump fan, that I can tell you."

According to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight, more than 45% of Americans support Trump even after all he's done, and if his numbers remain that high, he will win re-election. We need to know:
