Right now, our healthcare and essential workers are facing a critical, life-threatening shortage in protective equipment health care workers need to fight against COVID-19, and our auto manufacturers can help.
Lauren is calling on the President to take immediate action and activate the Defense Production Act, which would lead companies to begin producing more personal protective equipment and distributing it to communities in need -- and she’s ready and willing to work with this Administration to make it happen.
The President must do something to address this dire shortage, and Lauren will not stop fighting until our healthcare and essential workers are safe.
