My name is Aquilino Gonell, former U.S. Capitol Police Sergeant, and on January 6, 2021 I almost died defending the Capitol from insurrectionists inspired by Donald Trump.

But I fought back. I fought for our democracy.

I'm still fighting for it.

So is Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn. Harry was also there on January 6th as well.

He guarded the stairwell where other officers injured in the attack were held. He confronted the Trump supporters trying to get into Speaker Pelosi's office.

And like me, he endured the racial taunts and physical attacks that he carries with him to this day.

Now Harry is running for Congress in Maryland, and his primary is just a few days away. Rest assured that he will protect your rights, your freedom as much as he protected the U.S. Capitol from the horde of violent criminals on Jan 6.
