Somebody in the law enforcement chain seems to be advocating for lesser charges for this criminal. This is the ongoing problem with the Police Departments/States Attorney/Court systems not always working together or someone in the line protecting the cockfighters. We are doing our jobs; they all need to do theirs.
The criminals all want us to get tired and frustrated and just walk away, but that is now what we do.
This past weekend our team was in Russellville, AL, where we found an active cockfight. The police were called and they responded. We know that the police did show up to the cockfight, but that is all the information that we know at this point.
