Budget 2024 – It’s about changing the way we build homes and getting shovels into the ground, faster. It's about building on our work to give kids the best start in life. It’s about making life better for middle class families. And it's about making life fairer for all generations of Canadians.
Earlier this month, our Liberal team announced new measures to unlock 3.87 million new homes, deliver a National School Food program to help 400,000 more kids, build more $10-a-day child care spots, provide dental care for 9 million uninsured Canadians and so much more. At the same time, we’re also making our tax system more fair by asking the wealthiest to pay a bit more.

But while we’re busy building homes, Pierre Poilievre and his Conservatives are continuing to push cuts that would hurt Canadians while also importing far-right American style politics here to Canada. We can’t let that happen.
