As they say, everything’s bigger in Texas, and now its impact on our politics is going to get even more massive.

That makes it even more important to elect the kind of leadership this state -- and this nation -- needs. There’s only one person in this Senate race who fits the bill: MJ Hegar.

Senator Cornyn’s actions -- including selling out to Big Pharma, the gun lobby, and other special interests -- speak louder than his words. The only people he listens to are his big donors and DC bosses like Mitch McConnell.

MJ’s different. She listens to the people, and that’s never been clearer than during the COVID-19 pandemic. While Sen. Cornyn dithered and downplayed, she called for the policies Texas families need: Economic support, emergency paid sick leave, and a health care system that can meet their needs.
