Do you know why I started the One Country Project?
To ensure that rural America's priorities and values are heard, understood and well-represented in Washington. I've seen it time and time again: rural America is experiencing a serious policy problem — hospitals are closing, internet access is unreliable, childcare is non-existent — and leaders in Congress are too wrapped up in partisan politics to do anything to help.
What is a good North Dakotan to do?
We get to work.
After leaving the U.S. Senate, I started One Country Project to get the work done, to bring experts together, to raise awareness, and to advocate for the needs of rural communities.
In this presidential election, Americans will have big choices to make. And rural voices deserve to be heard in these debates. The One Country Project is working hard to elevate the voices of everyday folks and to bring a strong sense of what rural Americans need from Washington. But we can not do it without you.
We are only a few days away from the end of the month. Can you chip in $3 today and help us advocate for what rural Americans need and ensure that our communities are not left behind this year?
If we stand and work together, then we can make a difference in 2024. But we need to start right now. Can I count on you?
