The most common question we get when we put out the word that we are taking the fight to Trump is, "How can I help?" – and the second most common question is, "Is all of this really doing anything?"

That is why we launched what I think is one of the most aggressive digital campaigns in political history. Nobody has ever tried to start talking to voters this far out and for this long. When we say we committed to talking to those (roughly) 25,000 swing voters in each Arizona and Wisconsin, it means they are going to see our strongest ads from now until Election Day. And our goal is to broaden that universe more and more. We are going to help get President Biden over the goal line, because yes, he really can win this.

And yes. All of our work is making a major impact. Ignore the head-to-head numbers in every poll you've seen. At this point they do not matter. What matters is the trend. And President Biden has gained substantially, from 4 to 8 points. Those gains are consistent over time. The race is already starting to tighten in the swing states that will decide this thing. And all of a sudden, North Carolina might be in play because MAGA is having those "candidate quality" issues again – if you want to call nominating a gubernatorial candidate who has openly stated women shouldn't be allowed to vote "candidate quality."

What that kind of crazy is doing is it is depressing the GOP voters who are already not very excited about Trump. Even this week in Pennsylvania, a huge chunk of GOP primary voters cast their votes for Haley, who hasn't been in the race for months. There are breadcrumbs everywhere for us to pick up, to quote my friend Ron Brownstein.

Overall, this election is trending one way right now. Add that to the economic gains America continues to make, and I would much rather be us than them. We are leading the world in economic recovery and it is not even close. Real wage growth is back outpacing inflation. Voters are taking notice.

Yes, I think spoilers could still play a role. With your help we took No Labels off the board. But RFK Jr. is funded by Trump's mega donors and is operating with their blessing. They know he takes votes from Biden. We have to combat that (and we are).

This election really could come down to a few hundred votes in a few key states. That's how we operate every day at The Lincoln Project. It's why we're being so hyper-targeted in our commitment to help President Biden win this year. We are leading and setting the strategy for others to follow.

I mean it when I say the reason I am most optimistic is because of you. We would not be in the position we are in without you.
