Unfortunately, Mo is up against Republican nominee Michele Morrow, who not only promoted QAnon slogans and wants to abolish the state Board of Education — but she even called for violence against Democrats (including calls to execute Obama and Biden).

It’s never been more clear: Mo's race for Superintendent of Public Instruction is a matter of protecting the future of public education and our democracy. Our end-of-month fundraising deadline is just two days away, and the stakes are through the roof. Will you split a donation of $25 or even just $10 between Mo Green and me to help us fight extremism and defend democracy right here in North Carolina?

I won't sugarcoat it: The future of American democracy hangs in the balance in 2024, and North Carolina voters will play a consequential role in determining the outcome. We must elect candidates who will fight for our fundamental rights and protect our democracy.

Mo has served as a local school district superintendent, school board attorney, and chief executive for the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, which awards grants to support public education. He's a champion for education, and he's the only candidate in this race who will deliver meaningful progress for North Carolina’s schools and students.
