John, the thought of NC’s far-right Republican candidates controlling our state government in 2025 is keeping us up at night. They’ve already passed a dangerous abortion ban and will try to pass an even more extreme ban. Legislators are determined to roll back access to the ballot box. And they plan to defund public education while sending public tax dollars to private schools. It’s the stuff of nightmares. Mark Robinson is the most extreme gubernatorial nominee in the country. He’s a conspiracy theorist who has already pledged to sign a total ban on abortion into law. He calls teachers “wicked people” and demeans women and LGBTQ+ folks. He’s a threat to all the values we hold dear and our state’s future. This race is the most competitive gubernatorial contest of 2024. Robinson and Josh are polling neck-and-neck.
