Sorry to interrupt your Sunday, but I have some good news and bad news about the state of our campaign that I need to share with you.

Here’s the good news: After we learned the shocking news that Mikie’s GOP opponent attended the January 6 insurrection, threatened to storm the Capitol, and called public servants like Mikie “enemies of the people,” this team sprang into action to help us respond. Folks chipped in from across the district and beyond to ensure that we’d have the resources to defeat Mikie’s extremist opponent and defend her record from relentless attacks from the MAGA right.

But the bad news is that with just two days left until our April fundraising deadline, we’re still far short of hitting our end-of-month goal. [[link removed]]

I’ve heard that Democratic campaigns across the country are seeing the same unexplained dropoff in fundraising, too. But for Mikie, it couldn’t come at a worse time.

Donald Trump is gearing up to bring his campaign to New Jersey next month , and it’s very possible he’ll attack Mikie to galvanize his base in support of her extremist, Trump-loving opponent.

We’ll cross that bridge when we get there (and fingers crossed, we won’t need to) , but the most important thing we can do right now is prepare for whatever comes our way by hitting our end-of-month fundraising goal.
