Phoenicians, we must come together as neighbors and friends to support one another as we navigate through the ongoing pandemic.
Today is Arizona Gives Day, a 24-hour period where you can honor the nonprofits that help build our community and will help us get through COVID-19. I want to suggest two ways to give that will support multiple deserving organizations, but I also encourage you to support the groups you know best.
The Arizona Community Foundation has created the COVID-19 Community Response Fund to support Arizona nonprofit organizations as they work to provide our most vulnerable communities with uninterrupted services.
If you are able, please consider donating to the ACF's COVID-19 Community Response Fund here >>>
Valley of the Sun United Way is another key partner in serving our community through these hard times and supporting the many groups doing work such as fighting homelessness.
As this crisis continues, they are counting on members of our community banding together to make sure that our residents have resources in this difficult time.
While it may not be easy, we will make it through this time of uncertainty together.
Thank you for your time,
