Dear Friend:

 

I want to check in with you to see how you’re doing during this uncertain time. I hope you and your loved ones are healthy, safe, and taking every precaution possible. I am inspired by our resiliency as we go through this challenging time together, and I am confident we will get through this.

 

Last week I voted for the CARES Act, which secures funding for our hospitals and healthcare workers, our senior citizens, our local businesses, and for our students who need student loan relief and more.

 

As a senior Appropriator, I will continue to ensure that our most vulnerable citizens receive the funding and resources they need to return to normal life. 

 

I encourage you to stay strong and be kind to one another.
