John,
As one of the most effective legislators in the Senate, people always ask me how I do it.
But let me tell you folks, there’s no secret sauce.
As a farm kid, you learn that there’s no shortcut for hard work. So I get up every morning and fight like hell for Montana families in the U.S. Senate.
The truth is, whether you live in a big city or on a family farm like me, most people want their representatives to fight for the same priorities: affordable health care, lower costs, and a government that answers to the people, not wealthy special interests.
But that message isn’t getting through to some of my colleagues in the Senate. They’ve let big donors, dark money groups, and billionaire-funded super PACs run rampant in Washington with no plans to stop.
Well, I’ve had it with these shenanigans. And I bet you have, too.
Montanans deserve a fighter in the Senate who goes to bat for everyday folks—not the big donors or special interest groups. But winning this race will take resources, and that means we need to hit our April fundraising goal.
I’m humbly asking you to chip in today. My team says fundraising is down this month, so I appreciate any donation you can make before Tuesday’s midnight deadline:
Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through ActBlue.
I’ve always fought to defend Montana and our way of life, and I’m not stopping anytime soon. I went to bat for veterans’ health care and passed the PACT Act, protected American manufacturing jobs with the CHIPS and Science Act, and reined in prescription drug costs with the Inflation Reduction Act.
But we need to fight back against the mountains of outside cash flooding Montana. If we work hard, keep building on our momentum, and focus on what matters—protecting Montana’s way of life—we’ll win.
There’s no secret sauce to winning a tough fight. Just a lot of hard work. And with your support, I know we can pull this off.
Thanks for being a part of this team. I’m honored to be in the fight with you.
—Jon
