But here’s the problem: The GOP candidate for governor, Mark Robinson, is a far-right messageboard come to life:

• He’s declared that wants to go back to an America where women couldn't vote.
• He’s called abortion a “scourge that needs to be run out of this land,” and supports banning abortion with no exceptions.
• And he has openly mocked school shooting survivors.

Despite all of that, Robinson’s race is a total tossup. But there’s no question that a Governor Robinson would roll back decades of progress.
