There are 33 Senate races this year. Twenty of them are seats currently held by Democrats. That already puts us on the defensive.
Democrats are unlikely to win in West Virginia. Looking ahead, that means our 51-49 majority is already back to 50-50. So we need to win every single race to keep our majority.
That means we need to get every single Democratic incumbent over the finish line -- especially in Ohio and Montana, where Democratic incumbents are representing ruby-red states. It also means we need to win the three open seats in Arizona, Michigan, and Maryland.
