John,
It’s starting to feel like Groundhog Day. Clarence Thomas is once again refusing to recuse himself from the January 6 cases. I hate it here 🙄.
If you recall, evidence was uncovered that his wife Ginni not only participated in efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, but also attended a January 6 rally in support of Trump. Nonetheless, dear old Clarence claims he is able to be partial in the case currently before the Supreme Court in which Donald Trump is claiming immunity from criminal prosecution for his January 6th insurrection attempt.
With an uncompromised judiciary, a judge with a clear connection to a case would undoubtedly either recuse themselves or explain their decision not to do so. Thomas has yet to do either.
In defense of democracy,
Tamika Middleton, Managing Director
