Senator Tammy Baldwin’s Republican opponent has said some outrageous things in the past. He blamed societal problems on women and single mothers and said that being overweight is a choice, arguing that people struggling with obesity should be forced to pay more for health care.

But Eric Hovde's latest comments will blow you away: "Almost nobody in a nursing home is at a point to vote."

Over a million Americans live in nursing homes, and Eric Hovde doesn’t think they should be voting. Imagine saying this about your parents or grandparents – or maybe even yourself!

It could be that this Republican doesn’t want seniors voting because of his deeply unpopular positions on cutting Social Security while cutting taxes for billionaires.

Regardless of his reasons, his comments were unconscionable. He continues to show how incredibly out-of-touch he is.
