As a longtime advocate for workers, I'm excited about the ways in which this agenda can inspire fellow Congressmembers to prioritize the best interests of everyday Americans and address their most urgent needs.
But, John, what I'm truly hoping for is for these pro-worker ideas and goals to reach every corner of Illinois.
Our state is where it is now thanks to our hardworking residents who have contributed tirelessly to its growth and prosperity.
That's why I'm committed to advocating for them in Congress and why I've been able to secure a record amount of funding for working families in the district.
From expanding and lowering the cost of healthcare, increasing access to child tax credits, expanding child care and early learning programs, improving public transit, and putting people to work rebuilding our infrastructure, these federal dollars have immediately benefited working families across our state.
But there's so much more to accomplish.
John, I know working families are still struggling to make ends meet, which is why I am ready to double down on my efforts to advocate for all workers in Congress, which is why I need your support. Will you help me reach our End of Month to continue our work for Illinois?
