California and the country are facing many unique challenges -- from the dismantling of abortion rights, to the housing affordability crisis, to right-wing attacks on our democracy. I’m running to tackle these issues head-on, and I’m proud that so many are joining our campaign.

Having a Democratic majority in Congress next year will make all the difference in being able to deliver results on these issues. And I can’t think of many people who I trust to help get things done more than my friend Rudy Salas.

Rudy is running for Congress in CA-22 -- a critical Central Valley district that could decide whether or not Democrats win the majority in November. Rudy’s race will be one of the most competitive House contests in the entire country, and he needs our support to get across the finish line.

I’ve worked with Rudy for years in the Assembly, and I know he will fight to lower prescription drug prices, protect social security and medicare, defend the Affordable Care Act, and restore the protections of Roe v. Wade.
