It's World Health Day!
Hi there,
At Special Olympics, there's one thing we know for sure: people with intellectual disabilities (ID) make the world a more joyous place.
That's why we're on a mission to give people with ID every opportunity to thrive in sports -- and in life. Our work off the field for athletes has never been more important because people with ID are at greater risk for severe illness from COVID-19. That's why we need your help to maximize our reach and strengthen our inclusive health efforts now.
Today, on World Health Day, your gift to help athletes stay safe, healthy, and strong will be DOUBLED for two times the life-changing impact. Match your donation now >>

The lack of health care for people with ID doesn't make headlines or hit the nightly news. But, this is a crisis. People with ID are often denied quality health care treatment from professionals out of fear, discrimination, or a lack of understanding and training. And on average, they die 16-20 years sooner than the general population.
Despite severe needs and higher health risks, people with ID are among the most medically underserved groups in the world. This is devastating -- and with your help it stops now.
We're so grateful that you share in our belief that every person with ID deserves the chance to live a long, happy, healthy life. Let's continue our work together to support athletes on World Health Day. Your gift of $10 will be DOUBLED to help fund life-changing and life-saving health services. Give now!
