When you think of how typical campaigns are funded, you might think about billionaire special interests. But on this campaign, we do things differently.

A big part of our budget for everything from TV ads to office space comes from folks just giving what they can when they read emails just like this from Andrea and members of our team. In fact, we ran the numbers, and the average contribution to our campaign off of emails over the last month has been just $37.46.

That’s what it means to run a grassroots campaign. And the truth is, this is one of the most competitive races in the country, and one of the most important for determining whether Democrats succeed in retaking the House.

So today, we’re asking if you can pitch in $37.46 (less is fine, too!) to make sure we have the resources to fight back against the onslaught of GOP attack ads that we know are coming our way.

We know that when voters learn about Andrea’s experience, character, and values, she earns their votes. But it’s our job to make sure every voter gets that message — because if we don’t do it, then our opponents will define Andrea instead using misleading smears and attacks.

$37.46 is the average donation we get from folks who read these emails and choose to make a contribution — but honestly, any amount you can give, no matter how small, will meaningfully improve our odds of re-electing Andrea, keeping this seat in Democratic hands, and retaking the House of Representatives.
