There's no reason to mince words here: no major party
nominee in the history of this nation has ever known less or
been less prepared to deal with our national security than
Donald Trump.

If we lose this election, our country will become less safe
after Barack and I leave office in January. That's the
honest truth, and it's frightening.

So when I tell you that Democrats need to hit their
fundraising targets today, I mean it -- to make sure the
nightmare of a Trump presidency doesn't become a reality:

I don't want to see all of the hard work and progress we've
made over the last eight years undone. But more than that, I
don't want a man elected president who rejects so much of
what makes our country great -- a belief that ordinary
Americans can do extraordinary things, and a belief that
anyone can make it in America, no matter who they are, where
they come from, or who they love.

So we need to hit our goals today, and every day until
November 8th.
