BREAKING: Supreme Court hears case on access to emergency abortions
John, the Supreme Court recently heard arguments on whether Idaho’s strict abortion ban is in conflict with a law that protects patients in need of emergency care.

Justice Sotomayor: Is it true that the state’s ban would prevent an abortion in a situation where a woman could otherwise lose an organ or have serious medical complications?
Idaho lawyer: Yes, Idaho law does say that abortions in that case aren’t allowed.
