Dear RFK, Jr PA Region 1 Volunteers and Friends, 

Hello Kennedy24 volunteers and supporters! I hope this message finds you in great spirits! For those who don’t know me, my name is Wystan Simons and I'm absolutely thrilled to join you as the regional lead for our dynamic group of volunteers and supporters. It's an exciting time to be part of this movement, and I'm eager to work alongside each of you as we push forward towards our shared goals.

We've got some fantastic events on the horizon that I can't wait to dive into with you. From community outreach programs to ballot petition signing events, there's a wealth of opportunities for us to make a significant impact together. 
Here are some current updates for our region:

MONDAY STUNT DAY in PHILLY - This Monday, April 29th, 11-12 noon  

This high energy

event went up on the campaign website yesterday. Let's see what we can create with it! The idea is that someone driving through the city during that time would see RFK's name everywhere!! We need supporters in Kennedy gear out on as many street corners in the great city of Philly as possible, with SIGNS, BANNERS (fancy or homemade!), NOISE MAKERS, CHEERING, SINGING (America the Beautiful?), PLAYING (guitars? cellos? drums?) ...DANCING... Synchronize your watch so we all make some noise starting at 11am!

More ideas: 
GIANT BUBBLES of HOPE - look on the Internet for instructions for a simple tool & the bubble soap to blow human size bubbles, 
SHARE FOOD - Pass out donut holes, apples, or oranges, coffee, or cocoa! 
FLY A KITE - Fly kites with RFK's name for the kite tail! (Good fr a park)
DOUBLE CORNERS - Get a couple friends together, wave signs/banners and shout Bobby slogans back and forth!

ROAD TRIP
The Road Trip into PA is definitely ON, and I will be sending out a group email to everyone who has contacted me wanting to be involved. Text me at (301) 237-1283 for more info or with questions. The more, the merrier!
 
MEETINGS
PA Statewide Meeting:This meeting is on THURSDAYS at 7pm, with Jim Donelson at the helm. Regional Breakouts follow state updates. These meetings will only happen if Jim feels there is news to share - so stay tuned for that link, I will send the update. (There was none this week)
People for Kennedy Grassroots Support Meeting:This is led by Melissa on THURSDAYS at 8pm. Melissa also offers a breakout options by state. That is a good place to go to if you’re looking for your tribe!
Region 1 Volunteer Leadership: These meetings a little more fluid and depend on pressing needs. Leadership also communicates regularly via a What’sApp chat. Please reach out to me if you’re interested in taking on a leadership role in support of your local community!
