2 minutes to secure a better future

John, I have something important to ask you. Are you ready to help shape the future of our country?

A general election is coming this year, and we urgently need climate on the agenda. The science is loud and clear – if we want a liveable planet, we need climate action now.

We're on the brink of a defining moment for people and the planet. 2024 is a huge year for democracy, with more than half the world’s population heading to the polls. The leaders we elect could remain in power through to the end of the decade. This is our best chance to secure a government that tackles the climate emergency head-on.

But we need your support. John, will you please contribute to our work with a monthly donation? Every pound you give will help fund our campaigns for a greener, safer future.

Yes, I'll give a monthly donation: [link removed]

There’s a long road ahead, but this is a crucial chance to secure meaningful climate action before it’s too late. The more support we have, the bigger we can grow the movement.

I know it’s easy to feel disillusioned. We’ve had years of politicians that we’ve not even voted for, wasting our time with empty promises and constant U-turns. But the truth is: we can’t waste another five years on politicians who just don’t get it.

We’re at a decisive political moment. This election could be our last chance to secure climate action this decade.

That’s why we launched Project Climate Vote. We’re uniting the British public to vote with climate in mind – building a movement of people who want to hold governments accountable for the climate crisis. And we’re targeting key marginal seats, where MPs and the media will be laser-focused in the coming months.

If we can show politicians that climate votes helped get them elected, we can hold them to account for climate action when they form the government.

But we can’t do it alone.John, will you chip in to help fund our people-powered movement? We don’t take money from companies or governments, so we rely on your support to keep our campaigns running.

Yes, I'll chip in with a monthly donation: [link removed]

The clock is ticking. We deserve leaders who have their priorities straight – who understand that the future of our planet is more important than culture wars or party politics. It’s time for a government that will step up to the plate and tackle the climate crisis head-on.

And remember, climate action isn’t a ‘nice-to-have’ – it’s essential. A vote for the climate is a vote for warm homes, cheaper transport, better health, and a brighter future for all of us. It’s something we can all get behind.

Let’s push for a race to the top on climate, from all political parties. It’s the only way we can secure a safer, fairer future.
