Hi John, how are you?

I’ll admit, between welcoming our second daughter Karina and dealing with the MAGA extremists (who I’d argue act worse than a baby), I’ve got my hands full.

But what’s increasing my stress levels the most is that Speaker Mike Johnson is ramping up his efforts to flip my seat red. He even held a fundraiser for my MAGA opponent in my district. In fact, we know from the FEC reports that the Speaker wrote a $60k check for my opponent.

There’s a lot of weight on my shoulders right now. Our democracy is on the line and now it feels like everything could come down to what happens in my race. But thankfully I have this grassroots team supporting me every step of the way.

My team and I set a $15,000 end-of-month goal to respond to these latest developments, and I could really use your help to fight back.
