Katie Britt tells Biden administration to ‘restore order and protect Jewish
students on our college campuses’

U.S. Sen. Katie Britt is fighting to protect Jewish students against
anti-Semitism on college campuses.



Britt joined Tom Cotton, and 24 of their Senate Republican colleagues in
sending a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and Secretary of Education
Miguel Cardona calling on them to shut down the riots currently taking place on
several major universities across the country.

U.S. Senators Katie Britt, Tim Scott Introduce Bill Aimed to Combat
Antisemitism on College Campuses

U.S. Senators Katie Britt, Tim Scott, Bob Casey, and 27 of their Senate
colleagues have introduced the bipartisanAntisemitism Awareness Act
<[link removed]>.



Per Senator Britt’s press department this act, “Would help combat the
antisemitic bigotry and targeted harassment of the Jewish community that has
been growing on college campuses, especially in the wake of Hamas’ barbaric
terrorist attack on October 7, 2023. Specifically, theAntisemitism Awareness Act
would require the U.S. Department of Education to consider the International
Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism when
enforcing federal anti-discrimination laws.
