*Governor Gordon?s Podcast Features Discussion of Property Tax Relief that Was Achieved During Legislative Session*

CHEYENNE, Wyo. ?Governor Mark Gordon discusses Wyoming property taxes and enacted legislation that will provide property tax relief to Wyoming residents in the newest episode of his podcast, ?The Morning Gather?.

In the latest episode, the Governor is joined by Wyoming Department of Revenue Director Brenda Henson, Senator Cale Case and Converse County Commissioner Jim Willox for a wide-ranging discussion of how Wyoming?s property tax system is structured, the relief that was passed during the 2024 legislative session, and how an upcoming Constitutional amendment could provide additional relief going forward. Signed by the Governor during the 2023 general session, SJ0003 - Property tax residential property class [ [link removed] ] will be on the ballot in November. The podcast series is part of the Governor?s goal to have more open communication with the citizens of Wyoming.?
