The Trump-45 administration took solid and practical steps to open up drilling leases on public lands, which created American energy independence. The flawed American energy policy of not buying or drastically reducing oil purchases from state sponsors of terrorism, including Russia, Iran, and Venezuela, has led to dangerous unintended consequences that no one in the Biden Administration can see coming. They are seemingly adults but, like a child, haven't yet learned to look both ways before crossing the street.

During the Biden-46 Administration, American energy independence immediately ended, and massive amounts of U.S. dollars flowed to Russia, Iran, and Venezuela, among others. These state sponsors of terrorism then used their new-found wealth to sponsor illegal operations, including terrorism. This liquidity then flowed to radical terror sub-groups like Hezbollah and Hamas, financing the October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel and other terroristic acts that play out daily.

Everything is interconnected.

Everything is interrelated.

Every action causes a reaction elsewhere.

And often, that reactive consequence is undesirable and dangerous.

On the worn-out talking point that says drilling American oil damages the land, one should be aware that modern U.S. drilling techniques are superior compared to other countries. The process of reclamation is an important, good, effective, and responsible measure already employed in the U.S.

The political implications of the Biden administration's flawed energy policy have made America weaker and the world drastically more dangerous by sending American dollars offshore and losing good-paying jobs to foreign bad-actor oil-producing nations.

American First energy independence makes the USA stronger, our enemies weaker, reduces terrorism and conflict, and saves lives across the globe.

Foreign oil is not cleaner, cheaper, or better. Foreign oil is, however, deadly.

It is time to “Drill, Baby, Drill” and Make America Great Again. Let's roll.

As the chairman of the Kansas Republican Party, I have many responsibilities. With an eye always on the future while also attempting to pull more and more Republicans on board, I am perpetually balancing these, and many other, priorities.

Unfortunately, some Kansas Republicans have chosen the tact of remaining distant, and even worse in some cases have literally worked against the party, trying to cause a catastrophic failure. To be clear, that will not happen.

We are now roughly 100 days until the 2024 Kansas Republican primary election and roughly 200 days until the 2024 Kansas general election where electing Republicans must be our common goal.

I am asking all Republicans to now lay down their grievances and turn our collective attention to our true opponents, the Democrats.

It is okay if you don’t agree with me. It is also okay if you don’t want to join me in what I’m accomplishing. What is not OK is working against the party because you’re upset or didn’t get your way.

There will be an election for chairman coming up in the first quarter of next year, and then again, you’ll have your chance to decide what direction of leadership you prefer. Until that time we have much to accomplish, much to do, and much to win… or lose.

We are the party of smaller government, less taxes and more freedom. These are the things that bind us and we must hang together or suredly we will all hang individually.

Caryn Tyson, Kansas State Senator and Chairman of the influential Kansas Senate Committee on Assessment and Taxation, is contemplating her options at this time.

Derek Schmidt, former Kansas Attorney General and failed Republican 2022 nominee for Kansas Governor, announced Friday morning he is running for the CD-2 seat.

Chris Croft, Kansas State Representative and Kansas House Majority Leader, seemed to consider getting in the race but announced he would not seek the seat.

Jeff Kahrs, a former staffer for Rep. Jake LaTurner, Governor Sam Brownback, and Rep. Todd Tiahrt, and former regional director of a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, signaled he is likely running for the seat to replace his current boss.

Other names, surfacing from vague sources, have bubbled up however, the specific person at the center of each of those rumors has not made their interest or intentions known.

Congress Approves $95,000,000,000.00 Foreign Aid for Ukraine & Israel, Ignores US Border

In a controversial vote, the United States Senate voted 79-18 on Tuesday to approve a $95 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and the Indo-Pacific region.

This legislative action comes after a similar package proposed in February, garnering more "yea" votes this time.

The aid package, initially advanced by the House over the weekend, gained traction in the Senate with bipartisan support.

The legislation also includes a provision targeting ByteDance, the Chinese technology giant behind the popular social media platform TikTok. Under this measure, ByteDance is mandated to divest its ownership of TikTok within nine months, facing the looming threat of a national ban on the app otherwise.

President Joe Biden, whose failed withdrawal from Afghanistan, soft-on-everything policies, and other demonstrated global weaknesses, has destabilized the world. Biden signed the bill into law on Wednesday, marking a significant commitment from the United States to support critical allies and strategic regions amidst global tensions. The President's signature is a signed confession and admission of his ongoing flawed appeasement policies toward our enemies.

The US Department of Defense is already mobilizing, with reports indicating preparations to dispatch $1 billion worth of weaponry to Ukraine. The overall arsenal, comprising artillery and air defense systems, is poised to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities in the ongoing conflict with Russia and will likely push Russia out of Crimea without Ukraine having to endanger troops.

The Pentagon hinted earlier this week that the weapons could be en route to Ukraine within a matter of days, underscoring the urgency of the situation. In reports just this morning, some of that newly appropriated artillery is effectively in use by Ukraine against Russia.

As geopolitical dynamics continue to evolve, the passage of this aid package signals a proactive stance from the United States in addressing security concerns and affirming its commitment to strategic alliances in regions of geopolitical significance.

It also signals a stunning tone-deafness to American taxpayers' concerns about American border concerns while throwing massive amounts of borrowed money at other foreign nations to defend their borders.

Effective and proven international diplomacy and policy are summarized in this statement: peace comes through strength, and war comes through weakness.

A strong America is a safe America.

And that means we must always and forever be America First.

Biden’s Delusional, Offensive Lie About Uncle, Ally Nation

Papua New Guinea's Prime Minister, James Marape, rebuked President Biden's recent remarks suggesting his missing serviceman uncle was eaten by cannibals after his plane was shot down during WWII.

Marape condemned the labeling of his country and urged the U.S. to address remnants of WWII scattered across the Pacific.

These comments come amidst geopolitical competition between the U.S. and China in the region. While the U.S. signed a defense cooperation agreement with PNG, China's Foreign Minister met with Marape in Port Moresby. The U.S. State Department emphasized respect for Papua New Guinea's people and culture, citing shared sacrifices in WWII and praising the country's leadership and diverse cultures.

Marape urged the White House to address WWII remains, including those of missing servicemen like Biden’s missing uncle, Ambrose Finnegan. Biden previously raised concerns about his uncle's fate, hinting at the possibility of cannibalism.

Historically, PNG played a crucial role in the U.S. Pacific campaign during WWII, but its impact remains sensitive among Pacific Islanders.

Marape highlighted the ongoing danger from WWII remnants, including human remains, wrecks, and unexploded ordnance, emphasizing the need for resolution and recognition of the country's wartime sacrifices.

Kansas Presidential Delegate Selection Process Explained

The process by which the Republican Party elects leaders, both within the party frame work and to represent our state on a national level is one established by rules.

Last year the state committee, at our meeting on September 30th in Paola, passed rules that now govern the KSGOP’s process of electing Delegates and Alternates who will represent Kansas at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI July 14-19.

The Republican National Committee established rules prior to the beginning of the 2024 Presidential cycle that determines the number of delegates and alternates. If states do not follow the rules and deadlines established by the RNC, it is possible to be penalized and lose delegates. As the KSGOP’s rules were submitted to the RNC per their rules and approved by the RNC, Kansas was awarded the maximum number of delegates and alternates available to our State Party.

Kansas has a total of 39 delegates and 36 alternates for the Convention. Three of the delegates seats are automatically awarded to the State Party Chair, National Committeewoman, and National Committeeman per RNC rules. These 3 delegates cannot be replaced by an alternate if they are not present on the floor of the convention. The remaining 36 delegates and alternates are divided equally between the four Congressional Districts.

Each of the 4 Districts have had their elections for 3 District Delegates and 3 District Alternates from each. In May, 2024 the KSGOP State Committee members will meet to elect an additional 6 At-large Delegates and 6 At-large Alternates per District. At the conclusion of the State Meeting there will be a total of 9 Delegates and 9 Alternates from each Congressional District (totaling 36 each) to represent Kansas at the RNC Convention.

Even though there are District and At-large delegates and alternates, once they are elected, there is no distinction or difference made between the type of delegate or alternate. The only differences between delegates and alternates at the convention will be their seat assignment within the FiServ Forum arena during convention proceedings and the ability to cast a vote. All activities the KSGOP plans to participate in while in Milwaukee will include all delegates, alternates, and guests.

May is a very busy month and party leadership is condidering options at this time which would be most convenient for all involved. Watch for updates regarding the state meeting date, time and location coming soon.

Sharice Davids Votes Against Protecting Your Family

Sharice Davids, KS CD-3, twice voted “no” on the impeachment of failed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Leading up to and following the first impeachment vote, House Speaker Mike Johnson declined to vote on a bill sent by the U.S. Senate for military aid to Ukraine, citing the absence of provisions for U.S. border security. The political maneuvering forced a bright light on the importance of the U.S./Mexico border and drew criticism from Democratic representative Davids, who accused politicians of playing games.

With Republicans eyeing the upcoming elections, the focus on border issues will intensify. A decrease in illegal crossings this January has been noted due to Texas Governor Abbott blocking the border in that state with the help of many other states from across the Union. Assistance of Kansas National Guard on this important matter did not come from Kansas as ultra-liberal and divisive Kansas Governor Laura Kelly ignored the majority of Kansans and sat silent taking no action whatsoever.

The impeachment, based on allegations of incompetence, passed narrowly. Senate support for conviction remains uncertain but Kansans encourage their U.S. Senators to support the impeachment of Mayorkas.

Border security consistently ranks high on the overall concerns of Kansans and Americans. U.S. Border Security must be a priority shown by our elected officials to maintain the support of Kansas Republicans.

In Kansas' 3rd Congressional District, immigration and border security are of critical importance and related issues resonate across political divides. As the campaign unfolds, the border debate will intersect with broader political narratives, shaping the electoral landscape in Kansas CD-3 and beyond.

Republicans in CD-3 are encouraged to look into their current member of Congress’s voting record and discover for themselves that we have our very own Nancy Pelosi - right here in Kansas.
