Y’all, AIPAC just said the quiet part out loud:
They plan to spend $100 million to defeat me and other progressive members of Congress who have been advocating for a ceasefire.
And we know they’re serious, because over six months out from the election, they’ve already funneled nearly $1 million into my opponent George Latimer’s campaign.
“George Latimer…has so far raised $3.6m – nearly $1m more than Bowman. More than $950,000 in contributions to the Latimer campaign came through earmarked donations to AIPAC.” — The Guardian
You read that correctly — $1 million is about the same as the funding gap between me and Latimer.
Because of AIPAC’s dark money, we’re far behind where we need to be in order to stay competitive against him and turn out a record number of progressive voters this November.
So please, right now I’m coming to you with an important ask:
