When we first started this campaign, we had consultants, analysts, and ‘experts’ tell us that we cannot be pro-peace and win in this district.
People said that we had to stay silent. To toe the party line without pushing for better policy. To do things the same way it’s always been done.
But on Tuesday, our district responded, loudly and clearly, that we are ready for bold solutions that lift up the most marginalized and vulnerable.
That the people deserve elected officials who say that we ALL deserve better.
And over the next few months, we have countless of those fearless leaders up for re-election.
They’re up against a political machine that has unprecedented levels of funding.
They’re up against lies, smears, attacks, and endless propaganda.
But we are ready to prove, once again, that our collective power cannot and will not be stopped.
