A few days ago, I was making a speech on the House floor and extremist Congressman Chip Roy just wouldn’t stop screaming at me. Seriously, it’s ridiculous that we can’t get things done for the American people without constant hyperbole and histrionics from a handful of extremists in Congress.
Extremists like Roy and Marjorie Taylor Greene are hijacking Congress. My constituents elected me to work across the aisle and solve problems. But we won’t make any progress so long as some members spend more time pandering to the far-right.
