Herbert,
Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing our country, and it’s our responsibility to leave behind a healthy and thriving planet for future generations to come.
As Baltimore County Executive, Johnny O set a 5-year deadline to transition county government operations to entirely renewable energy by 2026.
Johnny worked with local partners to install solar panels at closed landfills, utilizing public lands to achieve our climate goals, saving millions of dollars and generating renewable energy to power our communities and neighborhoods.
Not only that, but he also created the county’s first Chief Sustainability Officer to continue working with our local partners to find more ways we can work together to build a greener and more sustainable future.

Our campaign is backed by the League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club because Johnny understands climate change's impact on our communities–both environmental and financial.
Will you join Johnny in his fight to build a more sustainable Maryland by chipping in $10 (or anything you can) today?
