John, since the conservative-majority SCOTUS ruled on Dobbs – stripping millions of Americans of their bodily autonomy and access to critical and sometimes lifesaving health care – 21 Republican-led states have moved to ban nearly all abortions or severely restrict access.
The GOP never planned to stop at overturning Roe v. Wade. They're doing everything they can to rip away reproductive freedoms across the country. That’s why we are reaching out today – because reproductive rights are on the ballot this November:
Donald Trump is facing off against President Biden in a rematch for the White House. He says he’s honored to proudly have killed Roe v. Wade, and pledged to sign a national abortion ban if elected to a second term!
In battleground state North Carolina, the dangerous GOP nominee for governor, Mark Robinson, wants to pass an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or even the life of the mother if elected.
In New Hampshire – our best opportunity to flip a governor’s office from red to blue – Republican Kelly Ayotte and extremist Chuck Morse are vying to win the GOP nomination. Both candidates have attacked reproductive rights: as senator, Ayotte pushed hard to pass a national abortion ban and restrict access to birth control, and Morse is the architect of New Hampshire’s current abortion ban!
Fortunately, President Biden and Democratic governors are fighting back and acting as brick walls to the GOP’s efforts to end reproductive rights. They’re working to veto extreme abortion bans, codify life-saving health care into law, and protect our freedoms.
They are working hard to protect reproductive rights because they know that in every single state where abortion has appeared on the ballot since SCOTUS overturned Roe, voters have voted to protect reproductive rights – and support for legal abortions in all or most cases is at a record high!
But they can’t do it without your help. So please, team, be one of the 45 democrats in your state to add your name to our petition demanding abortion rights be protected before midnight tonight!
