Hey there, it’s Dean, Campaign Manager for Jessica Morse’s campaign to unseat Kevin Kiley.
I’m shooting you an email for two reasons: First, to ask you to chip in whatever you can afford towards our April fundraising goal, and second, to share some exciting news with you.
Our grassroots campaign is truly a force to be reckoned with — whether you’ve given $5 or 5 minutes of your time, you’re a part of the collective movement we’re building to elect Jessica. I want to share that we not only out-raised Kevin Kiley in the first quarter, but we did that with 4,000 individual donors, and over 80% of those have come from our Northern California community. Over 84% of our contributions are less than $100 – showing just how much Jessica’s message resonates with real people who are inspired to give what they can, when they can.
This race is one of the closest toss-ups in California, which means that we can’t take anything for granted. Every dollar and every volunteer shift means so much for this race, which we know will be close.
