Hi Friend, Today Tommy Robinson supporter Marco Gill received 4 years in prison for a 6 month campaign of harassment against me. Marco Gill made my life hell. He targeted me, my family and my colleagues constantly with threatening phone calls, nuisance deliveries and even paid someone to “swat” me. It wasn’t until the police called me to say they apprehended him trying to buy a gun that we knew just how dangerous the situation was. HOPE not hate weren’t Gill’s only victims. He called in three bomb threats to migrant accommodation sites and harassed journalists at the BBC. He was a man obsessed with immigration and his hero, Tommy Robinson. This isn’t the first time that me or my staff have been threatened, and sadly it won’t be the last. Other staff have faced death threats, rape threats, intimidation, and coordinated harassment. This scale of abuse should never be tolerated. This year marks 20 years since I founded HOPE not hate and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved together, John.
