The stakes have never been higher in our fight to defend abortion rights. Arizona’s Supreme Court upheld a Civil War-era, near-total ban on abortion this month.

As Chair of the Arizona Democrats, Andrei stood up to Jan Brewer and Doug Ducey — who appointed every justice on the court who voted in favor of this decision — even while others who now claim to stand for abortion rights were cheering them on.

When Roe was struck down, Andrei took action as a CEO to ensure every employee at his company had access to reproductive health care, even if they lived in states with abortion bans.

On the other hand, Republican David Schweikert, despite trying to downplay his extreme anti-abortion record in the aftermath of this decision, has co-sponsored a national abortion ban with no exceptions a total of six times in Congress.

That is the kind of extremism we’re up against, and restoring abortion access for all Arizonans will require us to take bold action. The only thing that will stop extremists like Schweikert from passing a national ban on abortion and IVF is us defeating them at the ballot box this November.
